Tickets
We have a two wheelchair accessible spaces in the theatre, E12 or F12, which can be booked online or by speaking to our box office team.
Access
There are wheelchair ramps to enter and exit the auditorium via the double fire doors at the front. We regret that there is no wheelchair accessible toilet available in the theatre or the Red Lion Pub at this time, and the pub (a grade II listed building) is not wheelchair accessible. Rows G, H and J are raked seating with steps to be climbed, so may not be suitable for visitors with limited mobility.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome at the Lion Theatre. You can take your dog into the auditorium with you, but we advise you speak to staff about best options for seating with space. Bowls of water are available if required. Please advise us of your needs when booking.
Hearing Enhancement
We have an induction loop in our auditorium. This is suitable for use with both analogue and digital hearing aids. To use this, please adjust your hearing aid to the ‘T’ setting. Please note that this may not be available during live music performances. The hearing loop is best enjoyed in row B.
Familiarisation Visits
We offer special tours of the Theatre to anyone who would benefit from them. This is aimed at people who may find a first visit to an unknown location stressful. Please contact us to arrange.
