'Stagers' Groups

Banquo's Ghost; Upstagers' Macbeth

HTC has three youth groups, Young Stagers, Centre Stagers, and Up Stagers. All three have proved very popular, providing regular meetings, workshops, and instruction in all aspects of the theatre, including acting, lighting, sound, dance, and other essential skills. Members of the youth groups frequently go on to become full members, and are occasionally asked to appear in main company plays when these demand younger actors--including the annual pantomime.

There is usually a waiting list for places in all three groups, but for more information about joining feel free to contact Wendy or Sheena or the chairman.

Along the way, Mort encounters not only Death’s adopted daughter, Ysabell – who has been 16 for 35 years – and his mysterious manservant Albert – whose cooking can harden an artery at ten paces – but also an incompetent wizard with a talking doorknocker and a beautiful, but rather bad-tempered and dead, princess. He also, of course, meets Death.
